After two weeks of being surrounded by my lovely alternate world, tomorrow is the last day of the exhibition so if you were thinking of coming to see it – now’s the time! There are also a few new things to see. As I have been painting throughout the show there are now two new paintings. [...]

Writing & Painting

I’m sitting in Cafe Bagatelles on Rathdowne st. It’s become a regular Monday pilgrimage when I have writing to be done. I sit in a good corner where the glare doesn’t stop me reading the computer screen, the draft is slight, the music is quiet and I can glance up at the world beyond the [...]

While I’m working away on paintings there is also a lot of organisation happening behind the scenes. And I am thrilled to report that we now have a Victorian winery sponsoring the opening of the exhibition. The Crittenden Estate on the Mornington Peninsula has been stupendous in throwing their support behind the exhibition and will be [...]

And the winner is…

Alright I’ve made a decision. Actually, you made it for me. Last weekend I printed out the two possible images for the postcards and put them out at the market with a score card. Then I asked people to vote on which image – the rabbit or the lion – they would be more likely [...]

We heart AvantCard!

Exciting news! The people at AvantCard have decided to throw their weight behind the exhibition by featuring one of my images for a run of postcards all throughout Melbourne in the weeks prior to the opening. If you haven’t come across them before, Avant Cards are a brilliant company that distribute free postcards throughout Australian cities. [...]
