Exciting news! The people at AvantCard have decided to throw their weight behind the exhibition by featuring one of my images for a run of postcards all throughout Melbourne in the weeks prior to the opening.
If you haven’t come across them before, Avant Cards are a brilliant company that distribute free postcards throughout Australian cities. Businesses can invest in advertising through this system, but they also feature artists work from time to time – so you never know what you’re going to find. The postcards will go into cafes and shops.
So now I have to decide which of two images to use! Here are a few layouts. I’d be grateful for feedback here! Please let me know which you’d be most likely to pick up as a free postcard, and which would make you most likely to go to the exhibition or at least look at a link on the back.

Oooh! I will definitely keep my eye out for them! So lovely. I often pick those cards up and have a bit of a collection – though I do manage to send some too.
I really like the landscape Lion. What about the bear? Or it that just making things difficult by adding another option? Whatever you choose, it will be great. I love your art and I think it translates beautifully to the postcard too.
Good luck. Can’t wait to see the exhibition.
Dear Avant-Garde and Avant Gal Elise,
Congratulations~~!!I’m so, very, happy for you!!! What an exciting news! Melbourne will be colored with Elise’s work. I sincerely hope your exhibition will go well.
Love and smile,

Thanks Jacinta
I’m so happy about it – I love those cards too! I’m going with these images as they are the ones that seem to get the most attention… I like the landscape format best too.

Congratulations Elise! I think your work is just wonderful! It’s a really tough decision, but if I had to pick I would have to say the lady rabbit in the cafe; I really love the picture and I am really intrigued by the view out the window!
All the best for the exhibition and the future,
Emily.
Terrific news! Avant card are so collectible! Cards – They are both great but the rabbit would be my personal favourite! I feel more story there. Guess the decision has to be yours though!

Best for the pic fest!

Fabulous news – congratulations! Even though I love the rabbit, I think the landscape Lion is the most visually arresting and is likely to attract the most attention. They’re all beautiful – looking foward to the exhibition
